Andy and Leslie both started sailing on the waters of New England at a young age and now that they have become empty nesters they make sailing on s/v Kairos a Bristol 47.7 their home each sailing season. 

Andy, a former Airline Pilot accustomed to navigation instruments and electronics from his years in the cockpit of a jet recognized Wayfinder as the evolution of the multifunction display. Situational awareness on a jet is of the highest importance and having seen aircraft transition from instruments which display data to the flight systems onboard today's aircraft recognized Wayfinder as the evolution in systems which support sound situational awareness.

Leslie recently retired from a career in Molecular Biology research and teaching and holds a USCG Master 50 ton license. Having sailed for 25 years before GPS or elaborate electronics, she knows the importance of self-reliance, simplicity and safety. For her, the increasing complexity of electronics onboard was a source of frustration and Wayfinder for her represents getting back to basic simplicity and safety onboard.
